About the Role
As an Asbestos Removalist with Aestec Services, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering critical work at the Queensland Alumina Limited site - one of the region's most important industrial hubs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out A Class Asbestos Removal in accordance with all safety and environmental standards
* Constructing and managing asbestos enclosures to ensure safe containment during removal activities
* Lagging and general labouring duties as part of our broader industrial maintenance operations
* Supporting clean-up, disposal and decontamination processes with a high attention to detail and a commitment to team safety
As a Labourer with Aestec Services, you'll be an essential part of our on-the-ground team, contributing to vital industrial maintenance works at the Queensland Alumina Limited site.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing general labouring duties to support trades and maintenance teams across site operations
* Assisting with site preparation, material handling, and clean-up to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance
* Contributing to a safe, productive work environment through teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic

What We're Looking For
We're seeking motivated professionals with the following:
A Class and/or B Class Asbestos Removal Certification
Construction White/Blue Card
QAL / BSL / RTAY Blue Medipass (or willingness to obtain)
Working at Heights Ticket (desired but not essential)
Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres (desired but not essential)
A positive safety mindset and team-first attitude
