Operations Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join our team. As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems and performing system performance improvement tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in STEM disciplines, with experience in engineering/technical roles. They will also have proficiency in LINUX, Perl, AGILE SW development tools, and monitoring tools/scripts.

Responsibilities:
* Successfully complete and maintain initial operator certification and progress towards advanced certification while supporting real-time operations shifts per quarter.
* Monitor multiple complex systems and execute standard operating procedures in response to nominal and anomalous system behaviors.
* Perform system performance improvement tasks involving scripting and standard operating procedure modification.
* Support Factory design working groups in order to facilitate the transition to operations of new systems and capabilities.
* Utilize agile processes and tools to include Jira, Confluence, and Git.
Requirements:
* Bachelors of Science Degree in a STEM discipline plus 2 years of engineering/technical experience or a Masters of Science Degree in a STEM discipline plus 0 years of engineering/technical experience.
* Familiarity with LINUX, Perl, AGILE SW development tools, and monitoring tools/scripts.
* Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance, SCI access and complete a counterintelligence polygraph examination prior to start date.
