We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable and values-driven Support Workers to join our growing team, supporting NDIS participants with disability, psychosocial and complex support needs.
This role is ideal for people who genuinely care about others, show empathy in difficult moments, and are committed to making a positive difference in someone's everyday life.
About the Role
As a Support Worker with BrightPath, you will provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing, including:
* Providing individualized disability and psychosocial support
* Supporting participants with daily living activities
* Community access and social participation
* Emotional support, encouragement and mentoring
* Transport to medical appointments and community activities
* Supporting participants to build routines, confidence and life skills
* Completing clear and accurate shift notes and documentation
What We're Looking For
We are looking for people who are:
* Kind, respectful and genuinely compassionate
* Reliable, professional and committed to quality support
* Comfortable supporting people with disability, complex and psychosocial needs
* Strong communicators and positive team members
* Have a minimum of 1+ years experience working with people with disabilities and psychosocial needs.
Essential Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health or Community Services (or currently working towards)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
ACT Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check
Current First Aid & CPR
Manual Handling and Medication Assistance training (or willingness to obtain)
Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Ability to complete professional documentation and shift notes
Valid work visa acceptable for employment in Australia
