ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to Enrolled Nurse, the Social and Lifestyle Worker plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of the life for our clients by providing personalized support and facilitating social and recreational activities. This position involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences and goals and assisting them in engaging with their community and pursuing fulfilling activities.
JOB TASKS:
* To design and implement social, recreational and leisure activities that cater to the interests and abilities of clients.
* Organizing group events and activities and promote social interaction and community involvement.
* Responsible for facilitating day trips with Clients.
* Arranging internal and external activities both group and individual.
* Ensuring all activity equipment are stored neatly and securely.
* Organizing pampering sessions with clients, nail care and hand massage.
* Organizing outdoor picnics and BBQ with clients.
* Responsible for creating activity calendar for the Day Centre in consultation with Client Care Coordinator and ensuring activity calendar is displayed in Day Centre.
* General assistance to other support workers at the day centre if required.
YOUR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE WILL BE ASSURED BY HAVING:

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Can provide a current and valid Police Certificate.
* Full WA Driver's License is a must.
* Has full working rights in Australia.
