We're rethinking homes for how people really live, and we're looking for a Retail Sales Specialist to join our Sydney Showroom team to help shape the future of living—one thoughtful detail at a time.
Retail at Castlery is where design, service, and experience meet — giving customers a space to explore, connect, and discover the perfect pieces for their homes.
What you'll be doing
Engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner, creating a positive first impression of our brand.
Listen actively to customers' preferences and requirements, providing recommendations and solutions.
Responsible for the conversion of sales from walk-in customers
Recommend design-focused solutions tailored to customers' requirements (style of home décor desired, floor plan, etc.).
Build and nurture customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction are met.
Assist in store operational excellence by ensuring general showroom maintenance, receiving / issuing stocks, and monthly high accuracy stock take.
Perform other roles within the store such as maintaining visual standards, assisting team members, or performing operational tasks on the sales floor.
What you'll need
Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture, home décor, or related industries.
Proven track record of customer centricity and possess strong people skills (approachable, good listener, and empathetic).
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Commitment in giving and receiving feedback – you feel there is always more to learn and are open to feedback on your performance.
Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail.
Good work ethic
Excellent team player.
Stay relevant and updated with furniture and consumer trends, ready to apply your learning in customer interactions.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
