The Role
We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced trade-qualified HD Mechanic who is available for an immediate start at our busy Forrestfield workshop.
This role requires a commitment of at least 38 hours per week. The right candidate will possess the capability to perform Trailer Servicing, Preventive Maintenance, and Mechanical Repairs on various types of Semi-trailers and related equipment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Mechanical Fitter qualification is required with proven experience in Semi-trailer Servicing & Repairs
* Minimum 1-2 years of semi-trailer experience
* Troubleshooting & problem-solving skills in Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical work will be highly regarded
* Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required
* Ability to communicate, understand verbal and written instructions
* Ability to work in a team environment with a commitment to continuous improvement
* Excellent work ethic, with a reliable and helpful attitude
* Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including a D&A screen
* Forklift or First Aid tickets would be highly regarded
* Right to Work in Australia
* A proactive attitude toward workplace safety
