The role of Lean Specialist is to promote, support, train, and coach the organization to apply and implement lean tools and methods. Participate in and contribute to lean improvements activities, looking at safety, environment, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and efficiency delivering benefits to support customer satisfaction.Key responsibilities:Implement lean for retail within the dealership organisationMaintain a sustainable continuous improvement culture within the dealershipConduct lean for retail training as requiredCoach staff as well as senior management on lean principles and practicesAnalyze current work practices identify areas for improvement and coach staff on how to improve business processes.Devise and test solutions and roll out new ways of workingConduct risk assessments on processes and tasks within each departmentProcess mapping, value stream mapping, identifying inefficiencies in productivity with a particular focus on layoutsCoach and suggest changes that can cut waste from operating proceduresImplement daily improvement meetings with an escalation process so that problems can be effectively addressed, and communication can flow throughout the organisationDeploy appropriate methodologies to problem solving and support teams to solve problems.Perform root cause analysis and resolve problemsCarry out time and motion studies to support productivity improvementsImplement standard work, visualization, and error proofingImplement 5S across the organisation focusing on Safety, Quality, and efficiencySupport the business in establishing "best practice"Who are you?Qualifications and Experience LevelsPrevious lean experience would be advantageousAwareness of lean techniquesSkills and AttributesLean knowledgePlanning and prioritizing activitiesGood communication and interpersonal skillsProblem-solving skillsAnalytical skillsUnderstanding of cost and financial impactsAbility to work on own initiative What's in it for you? • Work with one of the world's most iconic brands and be part of a reputation that has been earned over a century • A truly values-based organisation, inclusive workplace culture and passionate people shaping the world we live in.• Opportunity to leverage a globally aligned and locally authentic icon.
