ALS Water operates a modern laboratory in Melbourne (Scoresby) that is equipped with the latest in analytical technology. The division is seeking an Entry Level Laboratory Technician in a casual position to deliver quality results on time and to build strong relationships with clients.
This role is a casual position Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. The successful applicant will receive training and support in the technical components and procedures of the role and in a wide variety of processes associated with working in a modern laboratory.
The Day to Day
* Preparation and analysis of water and soil samples.
* Ensuring preparation and analytical procedures are conducted in accordance with ALS Quality Work Instructions (QWIs).
* Completing tasks within set timeframes and to the relevant analysis standard.
* Assisting in washroom and housekeeping duties
* Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencies
* Reporting anomalies in results and sample type/behaviour

* Available to work 10.00am to 6.00pm shift
