About the role
Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day storeperson duties and the safe delivery of lubricants to our customers within the Mackay region.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Packing stock and picking customer orders to fulfill regular runs
* Performing daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
* Developing, growing, and maintaining good relationships with our customers
* Ensuring compliance and safety are adhered to at all times
* Completing stock takes and replenishment orders
* Supporting other staff at depots to maintain service levels
* Carrying out administration duties including daily and end-of-month reconciliations
* Managing lubricant inventory administration and processing responsibilities
* Assisting with loading and unloading of packaged lubricants
* Handling day-to-day processing and reports
* Completing lubricant deliveries to customers
* Cleaning and maintaining the depot
Skills and Experience
* MR or HV driving licence required
* Attention to detail
* Picking & packing / warehousing experience beneficial
* Understanding of manual handling and load restraint requirements
* Good communication and numeracy skills
* Fit and able to perform manual handling duties
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Experience in warehousing or the logistics and transport industry
* Strong focus on compliance and safety
