We're looking for a great, truly outstanding Purchasing Supervisor for Crystalbrook Byron. Nestled in 45-acres of magical subtropical rainforest, Crystalbrook Byron is a celebration of nature, responsible luxury accommodation and the local environment.

As our
**Purchasing Supervisor, **you will be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating the procurement, requisition, inwards delivery and storage of all food, beverage and general stock required by the property. This is a Monday to Friday role.
**Your responsibilities include**:
- Implement a hands-on approach to manage the day to day procurement specifications in conjunction with the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all suppliers
- Ensure the stockroom inventory levels are maintained to adequately meet the operational needs
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers
- Foster a culture of innovation and breaking the norm
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with all departments of the hotel
**Your many talents will include**:
- Experience in a purchasing role or stores/cellar, preferably within a hotel or pub setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing procedures and practices
- Knowledge of supply inventory maintenance, disbursement and storage systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
