Salary package:$142,446 - $158,323 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full time, Fixed term (up to 12 months)
The Position
The Level C Academic will report to the Director of NCIG and will work collaboratively with the Deputy Director, senior NCIG investigators, external partners, and community stakeholders. The position requires a high level of autonomy and will involve national travel, including to regional and remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The role requires an exceptional writer who can communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including community, policy, and academic stakeholders.
The Centre
National Centre for Indigenous Genomics (NCIG) is a leading centre of Indigenous genomic research in Australia. The Centre, governed by an Indigenous majority board, was created to manage and expand a collection of historical Indigenous blood samples and to develop a research reference resource from the DNA in the samples for genomic health and medical research.
The College
The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the disciplines of: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Workplace and Society, Mathematics, Physics, and Science Communication and is also home to a number of cross-disciplinary and specialist Institutes and Centres.
