About the role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in the design, prototyping, and commissioning of automated manufacturing systems, automation resources and turnkey systems such as:
* Bespoke Machinery
* Robot and Cobot Solutions
* Process Control Systems
* Vision and Inspection Systems
* Automation Contracting
* IOT 4.0 Solutions
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering (or equivalent)
Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical design, experience in automation or manufacturing industry preferred
* Experience with bespoke machinery, mechanisms or robotics preferred.
Essential Skills and Attributes
* Mechanical Design - experience with pneumatic and electrical actuation, design of mechanisms and structures, and design for manufacture
* Adept in Solidworks modelling and drawings for fabrication
