About the Role
As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide one‐on‐one support to clients with acquired spinal cord injuries within their homes.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Assisting with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs (including hoist use)
* Supporting daily hygiene: grooming, bathing, dressing and oral care
* Delivering personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management
* Providing basic wound care and assisting with self‐medication
* Offering domestic support such as meal preparation, household tasks and laundry
* Facilitating community access, including driving to appointments and social activities
About You We Are Looking For People Who
* Are excellent listeners and communicate authentically
* Can work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights available)
* Hold a current driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle
* Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
* Are experienced in the field, and/or hold relevant qualifications.
