Overview
This is a remote part-time position (20 hours per week). The role focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, accurate financial management, and compliance with NDIS requirements, for Set Up My Offshore.
Job Responsibilities
- Accounts & Finance
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and timesheet management
- Monitor and manage NDIS claims, ensuring accuracy in billing and compliance with NDIS guidelines
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Administration
- Maintain accurate records, filing, and documentation (digital and hard copy)
- Support compliance by maintaining up-to-date policies, procedures, and records as required under NDIS standards
- Manage correspondence (email, phone, letters) with participants, providers, and stakeholders
- Assist with onboarding new staff, including record-keeping and compliance checks
- Provide general office support, including scheduling, data entry, and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not essential with experience)
- Understanding of NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements (desirable)
- Proven experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration (NDIS experience highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or other accounting software
- Familiarity with NDIS billing, claims, and compliance requirements (desirable)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
