THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking Trainee Geophysical Wireline Operators to join our training school end of January 2026 on casual basis for remote site FIFO positions on a 2/2 roster across our Western Australian operations.
As Trainee Geophysical Wireline Operator you will be responsible for recording data from a range of geophysical wireline tools and directional drill hole surveying equipment. You would need to have excellent computer skills as well as mechanical aptitude.
This role will see you working in remote locations both on mine and exploration sites throughout Australia.
We are looking for Entry Level Wireline Operators who work well both in a team and in an autonomous environment.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, and candidates who have a work ethic that is second to none.
Candidates must be reliable with the ability to commit to a 2/2 roster.
*Please note that rosters are subject to change as per Operational requirements*
Once the training school has been finalised, there is potential to transition to a full-time position in a 2/2 roster.
As a trainee, we will provide you with a comprehensive training program at our head office in Perth including external training prior to any field-based work.
You need to bring a positive attitude and be prepared to learn and work hard.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* FIFO experience (preferable)
* Previous experience in mining / agricultural industries - advantageous
* A strong commitment to workplace safety
* Proficient computer skills
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Energetic and can-do attitude
* Unrestricted Manual Driver's Licence (preferable MR or above)
* A national Police Clearance (or ability to gain)
* A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to gain)
Candidates must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen if requested.
