We are seeking a Telecommunications Network Planner to work with onPlatinum Pty Ltd which is a wholly owned operating entity, and subsidiary, of Comms Group.

OnPlatinum is based at Robina on the Gold Coast. It provides clients with packaged IT services, systems, support and resources across Australia and AsiaPac.
**Salary**: $75,000 per annum plus Superannuation
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Assess the software and hardware requirements of clients and recommend solutions to overcome identified problems
- Addressing client questions regarding software and hardware issues
- Review, assess and recommend changes to existing programs to meet users' requirements
- Implement computer networks
- Configure new networking and telecommunications equipment, such as mobile devices, computers, PBX phone equipment, wireless access points, switches, modems and routers for clients.
- Setting up and installing printers and UPS devices on client devices.
- Develop and maintain plans for installed telecommunications network
- Create network diagrams, specifications, and documentation to guide implementation and maintenance.
- Providing remote/on-site support and troubleshooting equipment, such as mobile devices, computers, PBX phone equipment, wireless access points, switches, modems and routers.
- Using MS Entra ID, Unifi, Meraki, Kaseya VSA and PBX platforms to manage and monitor the client hardware.
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers as required for the equipment, such as mobile devices, computers, PBX phone equipment, wireless access points, switches, modems and routers for delivery of cost-effective and reliable products, services and licences to the clients.
- Making accurate time entries for all projects, including office tasks and on-site visits.
- Monitor the health and status of network and telecommunication equipment.
- Updating and creating the documentation for processes and procedures according to the expected standards.
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support/advice on equipment, such as mobile devices, computers, PBX phone equipment, wireless access points, switches, modems and routers.
- Responsible for the initial setup of telecommunications network infrastructure for childcare centres for multiple Childcare brands:
- Onsite connection of internet (WAN) services (NBN, NBNEE, FIBRE, Wireless, 4G).
- Installation, configuration, and setup of Wi-Fi Access Points.
- Installation of network switches in data cabinet, including wiring\patching. - Installation and setup of Phones.
- Setup and configuration of computers, iPads and devices.
- Enrolment of computers, phones, tablets\iPads into MDM platforms (Intune, Meraki, Apple).
- Installation and configuration of printers.
- Onsite liaison with staff to ensure all devices are working as expected in accordance with specific client requirements and specifications.
- Undertake setup, installation and onboarding task for new and existing projects for customers as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma Telecommunications Network Engineering
- If not certified, a minimum of 3-year experience in an ICT Customer Support role or similar.
- Sound understanding of ICT networks, hardware and software.
- Previous experience with ICT/Telco network design, implementation, and maintenance an advantage
- Routing and Switching Experience specifically with Unifi, Fortigate and Cisco.
- Experience with Teams Calling, Ribbon SBC, Asterix, Bicom PBXWare and Sippy Softswitch systems.
- Sound project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Working with children accreditation
