This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Commodity Risk Management (CRM) team and make this newly created position yours. Whilst based in Adelaide you will be part of a truly global team, the CRM team have hubs in US, Brazil, Germany, and Singapore. The CRM team provide daily market risk positions and risk analytics for ADM’s various business units and senior management across a range of agricultural commodities. The position will be focused on supporting the AG Services / Global Trade business in both Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and driven. You will be required to work across different departments, including commercial teams, logistics, finance and IT. Further to this but not limited to: Producing, validating and reconciling the market and operational risk reports aligning closely with commercial Providing regular and ad hoc analysis on margin / P&L effects within the Australian and New Zealand businesses Acting as a business partner to provide and analyze the risk position data to support commercial decision making Partnering with the commercial team to define/adjust risk position limits, actively monitoring adherence, and promptly escalating any issues Providing support for the implementation and utilization of key global CRM initiatives Assisting with data driven projects to enhance risk performance, accuracy and insights About you You will have a bachelor's degree in agriculture, Finance, Risk management, Economics or another relevant field Exceptional analytical skills Demonstrable ability to self-motivate and manage cross departmental priorities Experience in Commodity Trading, both physical and derivative trades (preference Agricultural Market) Experience in Foreign exchange exposure and managing foreign exchange risk Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency in Power BI (including DAX), Power Automate, Python and/or SQL/data base concepts Your Future Perspective Newly created role (make it your own) due to business growth Challenging tasks, short decision-making processes and a high level of personal responsibility Room for innovative thinking and growth with the possibility to manage your own career path A company culture which promotes continuous learning and diversity Excellent career opportunities in a world leading nutrition company About ADM At ADM, we unlock the power of nature to provide access to nutrition worldwide.
