The Opportunity
Description
We're seeking a Principal Technologist to serve as a trusted client advisor with extensive experience in designing and delivering cloud-based Microsoft technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as a trusted advisor building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across all business levels within strategic enterprise environments (FSI).
* Consult, architect, and deliver Azure cloud-based solutions as a leader for technical client engagement and cloud direction, focusing on optimizing scalability, reliability, security, operations, and performance.
* Own and provide technical reviews on Azure architecture solutions, including Cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Data/AI, Security, and Integration.
* Work closely with LAB3 sales and project teams to optimize client outcomes, proactively recommend client value creation initiatives, and implement relevant industry best practices.
* Identify, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights, conclusions, cost estimations, deliver workshops, and report to senior management.
Requirements
* Strong stakeholder, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and inspire confidence with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
* T-shaped skill set with deep expertise in consulting, advisory, and enterprise architecture of Azure infrastructure.
* Proven track record of understanding large, complex enterprise environments and navigating senior stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
* Width and depth of cloud skills to enable effectiveness in both high- and low-level architecting and solutioning.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions.
Technology Requirements
* Enterprise IT and common Architectural Patterns.
* On-Prem and private cloud architectures and familiarity with migration and modernisation approaches.
* Microsoft Well Architected Framework.
* M365 and associated services.
* Common Application Architectures, particularly those that are cloud native.
