Job Title: Venue Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Venue Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our venue, including managing staff, overseeing daily operations, and implementing new procedures to improve efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hospitality management, with a strong understanding of operational systems and processes. You will also need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of staff members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the achievement of set financial targets through effective inventory management and cost control
* Ensuring the front-of-house ambiance and appearance meet high standards at all times
* Staff management, including rostering, training, and performance management
* Coordination, execution, and evaluation of promotions and events
* Managing venue auditing and compliance requirements
Requirements:
* Previous experience in hospitality management, preferably in a similar role
* Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
* Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG)
* Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence
* Food Handlers Certificate
* TAB Compliance
* Energetic and positive can-do attitude
* Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
