Partnerships Manager – Emerging Markets
Melbourne | Hybrid (3 days in office)
After recently placing a Partnerships Manager into this team, Refactor have again been engaged to add another superstar to this top tier businesses ranks
This one's for the relationship-builders who know how to turn partnerships into real revenue, not just decks and dashboards.
We're working with a global, publicly listed FinTech operating at serious scale across trading, investing and derivatives. They've already cracked the "established markets" playbook — now the focus is Emerging Markets across APAC, and partnerships are front and centre of that growth strategy.
This role exists because partnerships work here — and they want someone who can take ownership, think commercially, and push the channel harder.
The mandate
You'll sit in a lean, high-autonomy partnerships function reporting into senior leadership, with end-to-end ownership of affiliate and Introducing Partner (IB) channels.
Think:
* Identifying, recruiting and onboarding high-value affiliates and IBs
* Designing compelling partnership propositions and commission structures
* Owning performance — tracking, optimising, scaling what works, killing what doesn't
* Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Compliance to keep everything tight, compliant and commercially sound
* Building long-term partner relationships across APAC emerging markets, with occasional regional travel
This is not a "set and forget" partnerships role. You'll be expected to think big, act like an owner, and build a channel that actually moves the needle.
What they're looking for
You'll likely come from financial services, trading, brokerage, fintech or CFDs, and you'll be comfortable operating in regulated environments.
The non-negotiables:
* 4+ years in partnerships, affiliate marketing, business development or account management
* Proven revenue delivery through partner channels
* Strong commercial instincts — you know how to spot opportunity and convert it
* Experience managing complex partner ecosystems and negotiations
* Confident stakeholder management across cultures and regions
* Professional-level English
Nice-to-haves (but not deal-breakers):
* Exposure to CFDs / leveraged products
* Experience with platforms like Impact, Cellxpert or similar
* Cantonese or Mandarin
* Strong analytical mindset — you like data as much as deals
The setup:
* Melbourne-based role
* Hybrid working (3 days in office)
* Competitive base + bonus + strong benefits
* Clear progression, proper autonomy, and backing from leadership
Why this role?
Because partnerships here aren't a side hustle — they're a core growth lever. You'll have the trust, tools and mandate to build something meaningful, not just manage what already exists.
If you like ownership, pace, and operating in a genuinely global FinTech — this one's worth a look.
