Role Overview
Collect and verify critical on‐site property and tenant data as a Field Research Associate, serving as the cornerstone of CoStar's industry‐leading database. You will be part of a highly motivated and versatile team, directly responsible for capturing the intelligence that powers all CoStar Group products. Your meticulous, on‐the‐ground work documenting new tenants, occupancy, available space, and building characteristics ensures our clients receive the most accurate and comprehensive market picture, driving significant value in the real estate industry. Key Responsibilities
* Execute Field Data Collection: Conduct all required fieldwork to collect and verify comprehensive on‐site property and tenant data, including documenting building characteristics, new tenants, occupancy, and available space.
* Ensure Data Integrity: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and completeness within the company's real estate database by timely verification and entry of all collected information.
* Deliver Foundational Intelligence: Provide the foundational, verified data intelligence that is directly utilised across all CoStar Group products and services, ensuring the team meets its collective data targets.
Physical Requirements
* Sustained Physical Activity: Capacity for frequent and repetitive standing, walking, and sitting in a vehicle for up to 8 hours daily.
* Lifting and Maneuvering: Capable of safely lifting, carrying, and manoeuvring equipment weighing up to 3 kg.
* Manual Dexterity: Repetitive hand and arm movements necessary for operating a tablet or laptop.
* Range of Motion: Physical ability for occasional bending, lifting, twisting, and carrying to perform essential job functions.
* All‐Weather Fieldwork: Capacity to work and drive outside in all seasonal weather conditions.
Qualifications
* Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 2 years of professional experience; field experience is a plus.
* Essential Skills: Highly detail‐oriented with strong time management, organisational, and problem‐solving skills.
* Communication & Data: Excellent written and oral communication and the capability to accurately capture and enter data.
* Technical Aptitude: Tech‐savvy with expertise in standard operating systems (Windows, Apple OS) and Microsoft Office, plus the ability to quickly learn commercial real estate terminology.
* Field Readiness: Comfortable with independent fieldwork, extensive travel, navigating large geographic areas, and working in all weather conditions.
* Driving Requirement: Must possess a current, valid driver's licence and pass a satisfactory Driving Record/Abstract check.
