The Role
This is a great opportunity to join a team of Bookkeepers working for a national firm from their Canberra based office. Our client is offering the chance for you to utilize your skills to assist junior members of the team whilst also managing your own portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking full function bookkeeping duties for clients
- Processing of payroll for clients
- Managing the AP and AR process for clients
- Preparation and lodgment of BAS
- Assisting client with queries related to their bookkeeping
- Onboarding of new clients
- Assist junior bookkeepers when required
- Manage workflow and identify potential for improvements
About You
Ideally you will have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. You will have a strong knowledge of bookkeeping processes whilst also having:
- Cert IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent
- Experience using cloud-based software
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to assist junior team members
- High attention to detail and organized approach to work
- Willingness to work within a team
