About the Role
A 3-month Test Analyst contract is available with a large WA organisation, supporting both project delivery and BAU testing work. You'll join a friendly 14-person testing team (project sub-team of four) to help deliver a busy pipeline of new systems and trial emerging technologies including Azure and cloud applications.
This role focuses primarily on manual testing, with an advantage for those who can run test automation scripts. You'll be hands-on writing and reviewing test cases, converting requirements into tests, raising and tracking defects through the correct channels, and attending weekly project meetings. You'll report directly to the Test Manager and contribute to key deliverables such as test completion reports and user acceptance testing effectiveness.
The engagement offers a flexible hybrid arrangement (3 days in the Perth office, 2 days WFH) and has potential to extend beyond the initial contract term.
You Should Have
* ISTQB Foundation Test Certificate
* Minimum 3 years of manual testing experience
* Ability to write and review test cases and translate requirements into tests
* Experience documenting and escalating defects in appropriate tools
* Strong communication skills and comfort liaising with project teams and external providers
Nice to Have
* Experience running or maintaining automated test scripts
