ABOUT THE ROLE
Working in the primary Distribution Centre and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the position will focus on day-to-day warehouse operations. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the warehouse staff to ensure all aspects of inbound/outbound operations are complete. This role is more than a standard receiving, locating, and picking position; it is an autonomous position supporting. The ideal candidate will be proactive with warehouse exposure to Manhattan and high-volume volume pick rates.
DUTIES
• Lead a team of 20 across the AM shift, hands-on, supporting the pick/pack & warehouse operations
• Ensure order picking is accurate and stock levels are correct using the Manhattan
• Work closely with the warehouse leaders on WHS, process improvement and SOP
• Manage staffing levels, training and compliance
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor in a high SKU operation (40,000+)
• Exposure to working with production, planning or manufacturing teams with stock projections
• Experience in cross-training, upskilling and mentoring large teams
• Previous experience managing WHS and ensuing HSE is current and implemented
