What you’ll be doing
Reporting to our Cyber Security and Platform Manager, this role will:
5. Develop and proactively manage cloud platform security and cost
6. Establish and maintain new and existing infrastructure components
7. Run periodic Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and best practice reviews
8. Manage DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
9. Help establish a road map for our cloud platform including updates and new components
10. Implement automation to reduce manual intervention associated with provisioning, deploying and managing cloud resources
11. Provide technical advice on best practice delivery and deployment methods for cloud driven solutions
12. Collaborate with platform teams across the businesses within the Wesfarmers Group
What you’ll need
13. Significant experience working as a Platform Engineer and managing cloud infrastructurewithin a large, complex environment (Azure or AWS)
14. Proficiency in Python and cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) languages
15. Experience in setting up DevOps best practices and establishing and managing CICD pipelines
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
17. Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
18. A disciplined approach and passion to learn and develop new skills
19. Tertiary qualifications in a Computer Science or equivalent discipline (Software Engineering is desirable)
Nice to have’s
20. Relevant cloud certifications (Azure or AWS)
21. Proficiency in Snowflake and Azure DevOps

The Corporate Office provides corporate services and support to the autonomous Wesfarmers divisions, helping to enable the achievement of Group objectives. The Corporate office leads capital allocation and portfolio management for the Group and focuses on leveraging and enhancing the Group’s reputation to support attraction and retention of talent, securing investment opportunities and maintaining a low-cost capital. To do this, we need great people, working together and role modelling our values and ways of working.

Our Technology team provides end to end services for our Corporate Office, as well as supporting knowledge sharing and best practice across the Wesfarmers Group.
