Lifestyle Coordinator - Full-time, Bayview Place QLD 4216
Elderly Care is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join our vibrant aged care facility in Bayview Place, Queensland. As a part-time Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life for our residents through the design and delivery of engaging lifestyle programs.
What you'll be doing
* Develop, implement and evaluate a diverse range of lifestyle activities and programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure lifestyle programs align with individual resident care plans
* Facilitate group activities and one-on-one interactions that promote social engagement, physical activity, cognitive stimulation and emotional wellbeing
* Coordinate and support volunteers to assist with the delivery of lifestyle programs
* Maintain detailed records and provide regular reporting on resident participation and program outcomes
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the lifestyle program through feedback, research and innovation
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of lifestyle programs in an aged care or community setting
* Strong understanding of the physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs of elderly people.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with residents and their families
* Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging and meaningful activities
* Commitment to person-centred care and the promotion of independence and wellbeing
* Relevant qualifications in leisure, recreation, occupational therapy or a related field
* Must have aged care experience and Cert IV in Lifestyle
