We are looking for a Truck Driver - Store person to join the close-knit team on a casual basis. Flexibility is valued at Elders and candidates seeking a part-time role are encouraged to apply.
As an Elders Truck Driver - Store person, you will provide logistics support to the Branch rural products team, including receiving and dispatching stock in a safe manner. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.
Responsibilities
Provide a complete delivery service for getting rural products to clients.
Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe manner.
Assist with stock take and other rural products logistics support activities as needed.
Performing rural products sales (in store) as well as general shed and yard duties
About You
Basic knowledge of general merchandise products and safe storage & handling practices.
Customer Service skills (desirable).
A driver's licence required
Truck licence preferable
Must be able to safely operate a 4WD towing large trailers loaded with heavy agricultural supplies.
A Forklift Licence, or the willingness to become licensed after undertaking training offered by Elders
