Full time, fixed term until December 2025 An excellent opportunity to be valued for your administrative and organisational skills Base Salary from $103,185 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Academic Model team is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Senior Administration Officer to join their high performing team. In your new role, you will manage general administrative support for courses and units of study and support other functions of the team such as detailed business documentation and highly refined communications. This includes overseeing as well as taking a supportive approach to detailed administration of creation and maintenance of courses, creation and maintenance of units of study, including association of units of study to courses and related rules. You will review and write procedures for best practice and document work instructions. You will be required to provide guidance, and support our team, utilising their extensive administrative experience and judgement, helping to analyse matters and provide advice on policy, procedures and best practice for the delivery of work outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: manage the delivery of daily activities and services that form part of a student administration teams’ work, including process and system management, compliance reporting, communications, knowledge management and process performance and improvement contribute detailed input into analysis and review of faculty and University policies and procedures on course and unit of study related matters ensure regular reports issued are aligned with business needs and establish comprehensive procedures to include comprehensive records of new and/or amended agreements provide secretariat responsibilities for meetings, and develop high level communications in support of the Academic Model Team initiate, develop and maintain professional, productive and positive relationships with faculty administrative staff, academics and other internal stakeholders to enable effective negotiation, process improvement and issues resolution in the management of courses and unit of study related matters. About you advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite. Sound knowledge of student administration software programs demonstrated ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives excellent customer service skills together with well-developed written and verbal communication skills extensive experience in handling multi-channel enquiries and the demonstrated provision of excellent customer service skills in a strong customer service environment strong problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement, along with the ability to prioritise workload during busy periods well-developed interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team working knowledge of University systems Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
