Senior Test Analyst – Initial 6-month contract – Essendon Fields
Our client is a leading organisation in their industry and is undergoing significant digital transformation and enterprise system uplift. They're seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join their team and take full ownership of testing across major business-critical applications.
In this role, you'll be responsible for analysing requirements, defining test strategies, building high-quality test artefacts and executing both manual and automated testing. You'll work closely with project stakeholders, BAs, architects and transport product teams to ensure robust, reliable and high-performing solutions are delivered.
This is a full-time onsite contract role based in Essendon Fields, initially 6-months with likelihood to extend, paying $700–$750 per day (may have slight negotiation available depending on experience).
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Analyse user stories and system requirements.
* Develop test estimations, plans and detailed test scripts.
* Execute all levels of manual and automated testing.
* Identify, track and manage defects through to resolution.
* Identify risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
* Produce high-quality documentation including reports and user artefacts.
* Provide post-deployment monitoring and problem solving.
* Help shape and improve testing processes, tools and overall test strategy.
* Support product teams to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality solutions.
* Uphold strong safety, quality and professional standards at all times.
Skills and experience will include but not be limited to:
* 5+ years' experience in software testing and quality assurance.
* Strong understanding of Waterfall & Hybrid methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to create high-quality test cases, scripts, traceability matrices and documentation.
* Experience delivering testing across complex enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders.
* Experience with SAP TM, SAP EWM, SAP WMS and/or Blue Yonder (JDA) TMS is highly regarded.
* Experience with SQL, JavaScript, CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Selenium, UFT, Appium).
* Excellent communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to mentor others and drive continuous improvement.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and resilience under pressure.
