About the Role
We are seeking an Accounts/Administration Assistant to work alongside our accountant.
This newly created position is based in our Sunbury office with the working hours of 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- General administration and accounts duties across the business
- Assisting with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciling, job costing, and general bookkeeping duties using Xero
- Assisting with contracts and tenders from an administrative prospect
- Rolling out and managing a new application that will be used by employees
- Ad hoc duties across the office
About You
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with:
- Previous experience in accounts and administration
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Xero
- Previous payroll experience would be advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
