About The Role
Cater Care is seeking a Catering Assistant to support meal service at an aged care facility in Horsham, VIC. In this role, you’ll contribute to a positive dining experience by providing friendly service and helping create a welcoming environment for residents.
Pay: $25.85 hourly base rate + super and penalties
Roster: Wednesday to Saturday, 2:00pm - 8:00pm
What This Role Involves
Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified mealsCustomer service - serving our residents meals and snacksRe-stocking as required, and after meal periodsDishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areasSetting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Desired Skills And Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer servicePrevious contract catering experience (desirable) Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectationsExcellent presentation and communication skillsFlexibility, with the ability to adapt to busy and changing environments
