About the Role
As Bid Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, you’ll be at the heart of McConnell Dowell’s success, leading multi-disciplinary bid teams through complex, high-value tenders that shape Australia’s infrastructure landscape.
This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll influence outcomes from concept to submission, ensuring our bids are not just compliant, but compelling. You’ll work closely with Pre-Contracts, Engineering, and Commercial leaders to position McConnell Dowell as the partner of choice across transport, water, energy, and resources sectors.

About You
You’re a confident, commercially astute bid leader who thrives under pressure and brings structure, energy, and clarity to the tender process. You likely have:
- A degree in Engineering, Construction, Business, or related field
- Proven experience managing bids for large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Solid written communication and eye for quality, detail, and presentation
