Manufacturing Equipment Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join our Sydney manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maximum availability and safety of our manufacturing equipment and services.
About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and calibration activities on manufacturing equipment, working collaboratively within the team and with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance and Calibration: Ensure maximum availability and safety of manufacturing equipment and services.
* Scheduled Maintenance: Undertake scheduled maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment and services in accordance with our Quality Management System (QMS).
* Breakdown Tasks: Resolve unscheduled tasks relating to plant and equipment, addressing product yield related issues resulting from plant and equipment failures.
* Support Other Business Needs: Collaborate and support other business needs by completing requests assigned to the Maintenance Department.
* Delivery of Day-to-Day Tasks: Complete day-to-day tasks within established procedures and processes under limited supervision.
* Technical Information: Provide technical information and advice to internal customers including Production and Engineering teams.
About You
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering quality solutions. To add value to our organization, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Australian Electrical License: Current Australian Electrical License (4th year apprentices considered).
* Maintenance and Calibration Experience: Experience with maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment or test systems highly desirable.
* Planning and Scheduling Skills: Strong planning and scheduling skills ensuring planned work orders are completed within regulatory timeframes.
* Systematic Approach: Display a systematic approach to resolving unscheduled events.
* Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical information for documentation purposes.
* Rotating Shifts: Ability to work a rotating AM (6am-2.15pm) and PM (2pm-10pm) shifts.
