Are you a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic with a passion for all things 4X4?
Due to business growth and expansion Southwest Mechanical & Offroad, a leading provider of 4X4 automotive services in Bunbury WA 6230, is seeking a full-time Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve a wide range of mechanical issues in light vehicles
* Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, including servicing, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
* Minor to major repairs and servicing to all makes and model of four wheel drives
* Modifications and enhancements
* Accessory fitting. Including, but not limited to - Bull bars, winches, rear wheel carriers, spotlights, roof racks, exhaust systems etc
* Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the workshop
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
* Certificate III qualification is required for this position
* Experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic is required
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
* Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers
* A valid driver's licence and your own tools
* Full car licence is required
* Forklift ticket preferred but not essential
* Must be Reliable and Punctual
* Willing to adapt to situations as required and the will to learn and expand knowledge and skills
