About the Position
If you love being on the tools and enjoy leading from the front, this is your chance to step into a role where you can do both. As our Leading Hand Mechanic, you'll be the go‐to person in the workshop, guiding a small, close‐knit team, sharing your knowledge, and keeping the workflow running smoothly alongside the Store Manager. You will help shape the next generation of technicians, lift the standard of workmanship, and create a workshop culture people genuinely enjoy being part of. If you've been a senior tech, supervisor, or someone who naturally takes charge, this is the opportunity to grow your impact.
Success Profile
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Automotive
* A valid driver's licence
* You lead with confidence, delegate well and know how to get the best from your team
* You communicate clearly and take real pride in the quality of your work
* You enjoy a fast‐paced workshop and have a knack for solving problems on the fly
* You run a tight, safe and organised operation without being prompted
* You bring energy to the team and know how to keep morale high
* You're available to work every second Saturday as a minimum
