**The Role**
This role presents an exciting opportunity to support an already successful business and have a fundamental impact on their next phase of growth. You will be leading the project management and coordination of the organisation's digital website projects to meet commercial outcomes and project delivery budget and timelines.
As the Digital Project Lead, your main objective is to lead the planning, development, and implementation of digital experience platforms. You will be responsible for coordinating project management efforts, working closely with UX experts to conduct customer research and understand pain points. Collaborating with the Head of Digital and internal stakeholders, you will manage relationships with digital development agencies, ensuring deadlines are met. Leading project update meetings with internal and external stakeholders, you will focus on status reposting, problem resolution, and feedback, fostering open communication within the team and maintaining project management deliverables. Budget management will be a key aspect, where you will coordinate and provide reporting of digital project budgets.
In addition to project management responsibilities, you will handle relationship management, selecting and managing ongoing relationships with external vendors and agencies. You will actively drive positive relationships with external stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and contractors to ensure commercial outcomes for the company.
**Skills and Experience**
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in a similar role, leading major consumer-focused marketing website projects.
- Strong project management skills, with proficiency in agile or similar methodologies
- Experience in user research, user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address user journey pain points and business stakeholder concerns.
- Solid understanding of UX, SEO, personalisation, and analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and capable of handling complex challenges
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with a team environment.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support project delivery.
**Desirable**
- Agile or PRINCE2 certification or similar, demonstrating project management expertise.
- Understanding of website cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Cloudflare or similar
- Experience with ecommerce booking engines or property management systems.
