We're seeking an organised and customer focused Retail Sales Consultant to join our Brickworks VIC Design Centre in Wollert, Victoria, on a 12-month parental leave contract. Reporting to the Design Centre Team Leader, you will play an important role in guiding customers through the exciting process of selecting exterior colours and materials for their new home. You'll also support internal and external customers by providing accurate advice, processing orders, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across phone, email, and digital channels.
Duties
* Provide friendly, professional support to customers with their colour selections and product choices.
* Process orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems including JDE and Salesforce.
* Manage customer enquiries across multiple channels, ensuring timely and professional responses.
* Maintain high presentation standards within the Design Centre to showcase our products effectively.
* Assist with general administration and contribute to daily and weekly reporting activities.
* Build strong relationships with customers and contribute to achieving sales and service targets.
* Support the Team Leader and wider sales team with various operational tasks as required.
Success Requirements
* A desire to work in retail.
* An interest in Interior design and/or colour selections.
* Previous customer service or sales experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using ERP and CRM systems an advantage.
