Orica is looking for a senior leader to oversee Bulk Delivery Operations at its Underground Operation in South Australia.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled professionals, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key responsibilities include attending client meetings, performing incident investigations, developing safety management plans, and coordinating logistics of raw materials, equipment, and personnel.

* Train, lead, and motivate a team of professionals.
* Provide analytical support to the Territory Manager on continuous improvement plans.
* Coordinate logistics of raw materials, equipment, and personnel.
* Ensure operational processes meet Orica standards and customer expectations.
* Change management, project management, people management, report generation, preparation, and conduct of customer meetings.
* Maintain professional relationships within Orica and with customers.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of proven experience in an operational leadership role in underground charging.
* Strong fault-finding and mechanical aptitude essential.
* Cert IV Trainer Assessor Qualifications (or ability to attain).
* Qualifications in frontline management and project management demonstrated.
* Knowledge of the underground mining/exploding industry essential.
* Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
* Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite Skills Essential.
* Sound knowledge of good operational practices and regulatory requirements.
