Primary Health Nurse
The Role
As a Primary Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing advisory, supportive, and educative primary health services to families with children from birth to school age. Your key responsibilities will include delivering Key Age and Stage consultations to assess, screen and monitor the health, growth and physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children from birth to school age.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with families and has experience in providing advice, support, and education to parents and caregivers. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a non-judgmental approach, and the ability to communicate effectively with families, groups, and other stakeholders. A strong understanding of child development principles and practices is essential.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with the Victorian Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
- Qualifications in Midwifery;
- Experience working as a Maternal & Child Health Nurse or in a similar role;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- Proven experience in managing own time, determining priorities, planning and organizing workload;
- Current Victorian driver's licence.
