Work with a highly sought after APS intelligence agency on the forefront of Australia's cyber security
**Your new company**
This Federal Government Intelligence Agency is a vital member of Australia's national security community and oversees many functions including cyber security and foreign signals intelligence. The agency currently has vacancies across three separate branches for a multitude of roles between APS4, APS5 and APS6 levels. These branches are responsible for strategic planning and evaluation, policy coordination, and industry engagement. They are also responsible for international partnerships, public communications and Ministerial and Parliamentary communications on behalf of the wider agency. Individuals will ideally possess experience in one of more of these areas.
**Your new role**
There are 20-25 positions available across the three branches and your day to day tasks may align with one or more of the following areas, dependant on which position you are found suitable for:
- Participate as a member of a multifaceted team in the development, advocacy, prioritisation, implementation, review and evaluation of the agency's strategy and international partnership program.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to further the agency's strategic and national security objectives; support Whole-of-Government initiatives.
- Research developments relating to the agency's interests and strategic policies and develop response options to support senior executives.
- Monitor the agency's national and international obligations, ensuring these developments are accounted for in the agency's operational strategy and planning, and evaluating their progress against these obligations.
- Support the agency's senior representatives attending departmental, Whole-of-Government and international meetings.
- Draft and coordinate briefing materials, policy and planning documents, reports, ministerial correspondence and other relevant documents.
- Manage the delivery of programs, projects and other activities relevant to policy priorities, and/or international engagement activities with other nations (e.g. financial management and administration).
- Develop and implement communications strategies for a range of activities in support of organisation goals.
- Evaluate and understand the impact of communications activities including social media, internal campaigns and other communication strategies.
- Work with other communication streams to support holistic and strategic implementation of communication plans.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful you will possess initiative, display sound judgement and strong organisational skills, have a strong team focus and are able to respond flexibility to change, in addition to a skillset which complements a high performing team, strong oral and written communication skills, and superior interpersonal skills.
Relevant experience in one or more of the key focus areas, ideally within a Government setting will be highly regarded.
Clearances will be required for all of the positions ranging from the Baseline to TSPV level, dependant on the particular team.
