We are currently seeking experienced Excavator Fitters to support our clients across multiple FIFO and residential locations throughout Western Australia. These roles start on a casual basis with competitive casual rates, fortnightly pay, and the opportunity for ongoing work depending on performance and client demand.
THE ROLE
As an Excavator (Digger) Fitter, you will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and breakdown support on a range of large mining excavators. You will be working across field service and site-based environments depending on the client.
* Servicing, repairing, and maintaining large excavators
* Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault finding on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
* Testing and adjustments after repairs to ensure safe operation
* Inspecting components and identifying worn or damaged parts
* Completing quality documentation and supporting site requirements
* Following WHS procedures and maintaining a clean and safe workspace
ABOUT YOU
You bring solid technical experience, high attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and reliability.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel or Mechanical Fitting
* Proven experience working on large mining excavators (Hitachi, Komatsu, CAT or similar)
* Strong diagnostics across hydraulic and mechanical systems
* Manual driver's licence
* White Card
* Ability to pass site medicals and D&A if required
* Consistent work ethic and reliable transport
* Full Australian work rights
DESIRABLE
* Experience with EX1200, EX1900, EX2600, PC1250, PC2000 or similar models
* Previous FIFO experience
* High Risk Work Licence

* Casual employment with competitive casual rates
* Fortnightly pay
* FIFO rosters available (2/1, 2/2, 8/6 depending on the client)

* Ongoing work available based on performance
* Support from a WA based labour hire team that understands site work
