The Position
:
Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of event supplies and equipment.
Track inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy across multiple locations.
Coordinate deliveries and restock items as required during the event.
Maintain organised and efficient storage spaces, adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate with event teams to meet operational needs and deadlines effectively.
The Person:
Proven experience in inventory management and logistics, warehouse operation or stock control.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate stock records.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage high-volume environments.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, ensuring smooth operations.
Experienced operator with a valid forklift license and a proven track record in quick-paced environments preferred
Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of a fast-paced event setting.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend online Teams or in-person interviews with the Stores Leadership Team throughout August & September at Melbourne Park.
All Australian Open roles are casual contracts that will commence Monday 6th October unless otherwise communicated.
Shifts may be rostered across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays and paid in accordance with the Hospitality Industry Award.
All onboarding and training will be provided prior to commencement.
