About the opportunity…
Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, the Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the ELMO Sales Enablement Strategy. The objective of the role is to develop and lead initiatives that have a critical impact on the effectiveness of the sales teams in driving growth and customer satisfaction.
This is a position integral to the Sales & Customer facing teams and its objective is to improve sales teams’ capabilities as well as individual sellers' results by providing integrated content, tools, and training. When done well it will be pivotal for driving modern sales capabilities of the front-line sales and account managers along the entire customer’s buying journey.
The focus of the position is 60% on go-to-market initiatives and enabling sales teams with the right resources, content and tools,, 20% on departmental priorities and alignment, and 20% on tactical gaps which occur from time to time during the period.
Desired Skills and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher required. Minor or advanced degree in business preferred
2. Track record of making an impact and driving sales effectiveness outcomes
3. Fluency in Sales automation technology required; experience in driving adoption of sales effectiveness tools & platforms preferred
4. Experience in the design, development and deployment of sales programs required
5. Past experience selling B2B solutions and/or managing B2B sales required
