About your role: * Effectively manage self and in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educators and other Nurse Unit Managers/Clinical Nurse Consultants, develop staff through mentoring and coaching to enable them to attain professional standards and fulfilment of role responsibilities. * Provide effective communication, consultation and negotiation throughout the service to ensure the involvement of stakeholders. * Lead and coordinate quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective services. * Accountable for the application of contemporary human resource management principles to ensure that the unit working environment meets legislative standards and Queensland Health policy.
