About Kangaroo Training Institute Pty Ltd
Kangaroo Training Institute is a Registered Training Organisation (No accredited to provide training and assessment competencies. We service construction, manufacturing, defence, ship building, oil & gas, transport, energy and mining industries, providing formal training and assessment, refresher courses and verifications of competency, as well as on-site and off-site training solutions.
We are looking for an Glazier / Aluminium Windows and Doors fabricator Trainer and Assessor to join our Team.
We are a Licenced AWS Vantage Window and Doors manufacture; previous experience is preferable.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in aluminium windows and doors fabrication is required.
You will be a trustworthy, reliable, and self-motivated individual with attention to detail.
Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate proven skills in the following areas:
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and hands-on training to domestic and international students in above programs(s).
* Assess student competencies in line with the Standards for RTOs 2015 and industry requirements.
* Develop and update training resources to ensure relevance and compliance.
* Provide mentorship and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment outcomes.
Essential or Willing to Get Qualifications and Experience:
* MSF30422 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing.
* MSF40422 Certificate IV in Glass and Glazing.
* Current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
* Significant vocational experience in carpentry, ideally with recent industry exposure.
* Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
* Strong understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
Desirable Attributes:
* Previous experience in delivering and assessing MSF30422 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing and MSF40422 Certificate IV in Glass and Glazing or similar qualifications.
* Strong connections with the construction industry.
