About the Role
This diverse role will suit an ambitious, results driven and experienced Lead Structural Engineer who has a proven track record in leading project teams, building and maintaining key client relationships, and providing technical leadership across the structural discipline. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate good industry experience across Industrial, Infrastructure and Resources, with Buildings and Defence experience also considered favourably.

As the successful candidate your technical expertise will be complemented by strong local networks, competencies in business development and the ambition and drive to further expand Fyfe's client base and project portfolio.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Technical leadership to the structural team
2. Project management and delivery
3. Growing the client base of the structural team
4. Key client relationship management
* Leading bids and proposals
Key requirements:
5. Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering with 10+ years relevant experience
6. Proven track record in project delivery in a consulting environment
7. Strong industry knowledge and presence
8. Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining key client relationships
9. Chartered Engineer/RPEQ/ preferred
10. Knowledge and competence in the use of relevant software such as RAPT, SPACE GASS, ETABS and SAFE
11. A passion for mentoring and eagerness to develop junior engineers
12. Well versed with current local building codes and standards
13. A strong communicator and able to successfully manage a project from concept to construction documentation
14. Competence in preparing reports and technical specifications
* Ability to produce design, inspection report, assessment and strengthening and repair of bridge structures would be desirable
