Join to apply for the Senior Engineer Mechanical role at Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Senior Engineer Mechanical role at Tianqi Lithium Energy AustraliaGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Job description:The Senior Engineer Mechanical will be accountable for maximising the reliability and availability of rotating and mechanical equipment onsite, through condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, equipment evaluation and fault mitigation, to ensure the organisation achieves its objective to produce the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world.Profile description:Implementing and managing the site's reliability centered maintenance program for all rotating and mechanical equipment.Developing and optimising condition monitoring and preventive maintenance strategies.Assigning and monitoring key equipment reliability and availability metrics across the plant.Evaluating equipment performance, damage and failure rates.Performing root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations.Engineering solutions to address equipment failure, malfunction or changed performance.Liaising with OEM's and external contractors with regards to equipment upgrades and modifications.Preparing detailed work instructions for corrective maintenance activities.Providing technical support to site personnel in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering.Assisting in the developmeny of Mechanical Engineers and Maintanance TechniciansESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or higher, Engineering (Mechanical).10+ years' professional experience in a similar role.Experience with rotating and mechanical equipment within a processing plant.Experience with reliability centered maintenance methodologies.Understanding of condition monitoring methods and techniques.Experience with root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations.Good analytical skills and attention to detail.Good communications skills and the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.Experience with SAP.Advanced Microsoft Office programs skills.We offer:Contribute to a green and sustainable industry of the future.Competitive salary with a performance-based discretionary bonus structureAddional SuperannuationRewards and recognition programLong service leave option after 5 years (pro rata)Supportive colleagues committed to your success and well-beingInclusive and diverse work environmentLOCATIONTLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.HOW DO I APPLY?
