The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Operations Supervisor to help drive the effective day-to-day coordination of our Central Queensland operations. Based at our Gladstone depot, this role provides hands-on support across both our Gladstone and Bundaberg locations.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll be involved across all aspects of depot operations, from coordinating people, jobs and resources, to keeping things moving on the ground, and ensuring safety, compliance and service delivery standards are consistently met.
This role is ideal for an experienced operations professional who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while providing dependable leadership support.
In This Role, You Will:
* Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the Central Queensland depot, covering both our Gladstone and Bundaberg locations
* Coordinate depot administration, including staff inductions, job scheduling, job allocation and operational documentation
* Ensure inductions, licences and training records are current and compliant
* Liaise with internal teams, clients and contractors to ensure jobs are delivered efficiently and professionally
* Coordinate the general maintenance of vehicles and equipment
* Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and compliance
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience in an operations or supervisory role
* Previous experience in waste management, mining, transport or industrial services environments
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Confident using the Microsoft Office Suite and other digital tools
* Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* HR Licence (or higher) preferred
