About the role
ROSEBUD COUNTRY CLUB' is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at our stunning location in Rosebud VIC 3939. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating exceptional dining experiences.
What you'll be doing
* Assist the Head Chef in the overall kitchen operations and management
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals to the standards set by the Head Chef
* Ensure efficient and timely food preparation and service
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
* Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
* Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items
* Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
* Comply with all health, safety and food hygiene regulations
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong culinary skills and a keen eye for detail
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* Proven leadership and team-building skills
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
* Relevant qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts
* Flexible and adaptable to work in a dynamic environment
