About the role:
As a Medical Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals and key stakeholders in the Primary Care sector. Your focus will be on achieving territory sales and business goals by executing strategies set by DBG Health and Farmaforce. This dynamic role is central to driving results, promoting the quality use of medicines, and influencing prescribing behavior through ethical, professional engagement that aligns with corporate and industry standards.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, medical staff, and administrative teams to support territory success.
* Plan, implement, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly call schedules, while maintaining accurate and timely Veeva CRM entries.
* Manage budgets for events, catering, hospitality, and conferences in line with company policies.
* Execute sales and marketing strategies to build prescriber confidence and deliver on territory performance targets.
* Develop and implement territory business plans using an account management approach.
* Identify and pursue opportunities to improve access to prescribers, sharing insights and best practices with the broader team.
* Stay current on product knowledge, therapeutic areas, industry trends, and competitor activity through ongoing professional development.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and OH&S standards, while maintaining company assets in good condition.

Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in GP and pharmacy sales with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering results.
* Solid understanding of the prescription medicines landscape, including the PBS and current/future dynamics affecting the DBG Health portfolio.
* Demonstrated skills in business and account planning, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across matrix and cross-functional teams.
* Tertiary qualifications in pharmacy, science, or a related field, with completion of Medicines Australia Continuing Education Program (CEP) highly regarded.
* Comprehensive knowledge of various therapeutic areas and the pharmacy/consumer environment.
* Strong personal attributes including integrity, resilience, adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
* Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric engagement aligned with DBG Health values.
* Willingness to travel regularly for team coaching, stakeholder engagement, and attendance at HQ, corporate functions, and industry events.
